Carpenter ants can be very distructive and annoying inside the home. Surprisingly enought these ants can be active in your home all year around. We often recieve calls for carpenter ants in the middle of winter, this means typically that a nest is in the structure of the home most likley in an area that may have had water damage. Under sinks, Bath tubs, windows, doors and along gutter lines along the roof are the common areas for carpenter ants to nest. We have a detailed comprehensive plan to eliminate carpenter ants with non invasive baits that are oderless and placed in cracks and crevices where worker ants will find it. for more information on our carpenter ant treatments please call or send and email to deank@antecopest.com

Pavement Ants tend to show up first on a kitchen floor or in a room that is set on a cement slab. Cold winter months can actually be a very active time for these very small ants. Often times these ants will be seen swarming over a tiny crumb on the floor or even make it into the cabinets.
If you think you have pavement ants the first thing to do is eliminate their food source. We will apply a crack & Crevice bait where the foraging ants will transfer it back to the nest killing the queen and larva. Outside we can apply a residual barrier treatment along the foundation to help prevent new infestations in the future.

Pharaoh ants are our 3rd most popular ant call. These small ants are called Pharaoh ants because of the Pheromone trail they will leave from a food source back to their nest. The difficulty in eradicating these ants is that if there pheromone trail gets disturbed it will break the path from our bait to the nest, there for it is important not to mop our clean the floors or other areas where they are seen trailing until there sightings diminish. These ants also have an attraction to moisture or water damaged areas of bathrooms & Kitchens
