The common English Sparrow packs a wallop when it comes to building
nests. For such a small bird their nest have been know to block roof vents and ventialtion systems. These nest often go undetected
because of this small birds ability to squeeze into small gaps and vents. Gennerations of these birds will live in the same
spot causing these nest to get extremely large. These nest often contain parasites and bacteria and can cause respiratory
problem if not cleaned up properly.

Bird nests often attract other pest like mice (as seen in this
photo, notice droppings around egg shells), Bird mites which are very small parasitic insects which resemble small dust particles
when seen with the naked eye, and preadators such as raccoons and squirrels.
